PQube and developer Raredrop Games have revealed their plans to bring turn-based tactics game Warborn to Xbox One next Spring. Join one of the four unique factions and their fight for control with 90’s Japanese animation inspired mechas, going head-to-head in close-up battle cutscenes.
Warborn lets players assemble and command an army of elite units wearing technologically advanced suits of war, also known as Variable Armour. Observe from a top down view of the various maps made up of different hexagonal terrain tiles, call the shots and watch the action unfold in dynamic mid-combat cutscenes.
The game will also feature a bevvy of content to keep players busy. A campaign mode with the story behind each of the four factions in exciting missions; once you’re done with the story, you can either tackle Skirmish which lets you battle A.I. opponents or go online and face other players in casual or competititve matches.
Warborn will also include a Map editor so players can make their own unique battlegrounds.
